Feeding your dog the right amount can feel confusing — but this simple tool takes the guesswork out of mealtime. Just enter a few details about your pup, and the calculator will estimate their daily calorie needs and show you how much food to serve.

Here’s how it works:
  • Dog’s Weight (lbs): Enter your dog’s current weight. This is required.

  • Age: Choose whether your dog is a puppy, adult, or senior. Required.

  • Activity Level: Select your dog’s typical energy level (low, medium, high). Required.

  • Food Caloric Density (kcal per cup): Optional. Found on your dog food bag (usually 320–400 kcal per cup). If you enter this, the calculator will tell you how many cups to feed per day.

  • Food Caloric Density (kcal per gram): Optional. Best for raw or wet foods, which are measured by weight. If entered, the calculator will also tell you how many grams of food per day.

What to expect:

Once you click "Calculate feeding," the tool will instantly:

  • Estimate your dog’s daily calorie requirement based on their size, age, and activity level.

  • Suggest cups per day (if you entered kcal/cup).

  • Suggest grams per day (if you entered kcal/gram).

⚠️ Note: This tool is for educational purposes only. Every dog is unique, so always monitor your dog’s body condition and check with your veterinarian before making big changes to their diet.
